Smart Energy Solutions educates homeowners about the benefits of energy efficiency and provides the tools needed to use energy more responsibly. To help homeowners learn about how their home uses energy and how to save money on energy bills, we've created the following resources:
- Smart Energy Living magazine, a glossy, full-color magazine published quarterly by SELA partner Wiesner Media in partnership with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. This publication contains helpful articles about energy efficiency, renewable energy and other environmental issues that affect the way we live. With an average of 2.25 readers per copy, more than 100,000 people read each issue of Smart Energy Living. Our targeted circulation is directed to consumers all along the front range that have requested energy efficiency and renewable energy education and information.
- E-Newsletter is a free monthly electronic newsletter with energy information and news. (Read our privacy policy)
- Energy Makeover Contest, which we conduct in collaboration with Xcel Energy and the City of Boulder, awards two homeowners with more than $25,000 in energy upgrades every year. Educational efforts associated with this project include articles, media events and workshops.
In addition to these resources, we've created a virtual library of information to help you learn more about your home and your different energy options. Click on the links below and begin building a better energy future for yourself today.
